Strategist, Leader Development & Operational Readiness / Policy Fellow, USC Price - Space Systems Command, U.S. Space Force

Dr. Jason “JW” Womack is Strategist for Leader Development and Operational Readiness at the U.S. Space Force’s Space Systems Command and a Policy Fellow at the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy. He works at the intersection of leadership, behavioral science, organizational change and emerging technology, helping leaders strengthen trust, accelerate decision-making and adapt in complex, high-consequence environments. His Space Force work focuses on building the leadership capabilities, organizational connections and readiness required to operate amid rapid technological and geopolitical change.

Womack’s current work explores how generative and agentic AI are reshaping leadership, decision-making and human potential—and how people and intelligent machines can think, decide and adapt together. His frameworks, "Connective SenseMaking" and the "Seven Connections of Organizational Readiness," help leaders turn organizational disconnection into collaboration and uncertainty into decision advantage. He also applies behavioral science and organizational change to civil-military collaboration, leader development and the human systems that determine whether organizations perform effectively under pressure. His USC fellowship specifically focuses on those relational and organizational conditions.

A bestselling author, executive coach and international speaker, Womack has delivered keynotes and workshops around the world for corporate, government and academic audiences. He is the author of "Your Best Just Got Better" and "The Promise Doctrine" and co-author of "Get Momentum." He holds a doctorate in Organizational Change and Leadership from the University of Southern California and brings more than 25 years of experience in leadership development, performance and organizational transformation.
