Vice President, Enterprise Communications - Target
Target is a member of Ragan’s Communications Leadership Council. Joshua Thomas is the vice president of enterprise communications at Target. In his role, he is responsible for executive positioning of the retailer’s senior leadership team, as well as internal and external strategic communications programming for all major company initiatives. Throughout his more than 17 years at Target, Josh has been adept at harnessing the power of communications to manage and protect the company’s reputation and build consumer affinity, spearheading numerous industry-leading programs, including the reinvention of Target’s owned brand portfolio and countless headline-generating campaigns for Target’s marquee partnerships with brands like Disney, Levi’s, Ulta Beauty, Apple, Missoni, Lily Pulitzer and Hunter, among others. Internally, he has been a driving force for fostering a culture of clear, consistent and transparent communication, modernizing platforms that reach Target’s more than 400,000 team members and developing award-winning employee engagement campaigns.
