Lissa Chidester

Lissa Chidester is the Director of Communications at Oklahoma's Sand Springs Public Schools. Lissa graduated from Oklahoma State University with a B.A. in English, a focus in Professional Writing, and a minor in Linguistics. She has experience helping small businesses find their unique voice and establishing best social media practices within their industry. Lissa was nominated for the 2021 Jenks Chamber of Commerce Young Professional Award, and her social media content has been featured in the Washington Post, Buzzfeed, and on her mom’s fridge. Lissa spends her free time volunteering at her local library, honing her photography skills, and—of course—writing.
