Report: bin Laden speech was most-watched TV event of Obama’s presidency

Nearly 57 million people tuned in to the president’s address on Sunday night, according to Nielsen.

Nielsen reports that 56.7 million watched the president deliver the news that U.S. forces had killed Osama bin Laden, making it his most-watched speech. About 52 million people tuned into Obama’s first Address to the Joint Session of Congress shortly after he took office, according to The Washington Post.
