Report: Congress ‘the biggest and worst PR machine’
The approval rating for the nation’s lawmakers, as a whole, is at 14 percent. Even the best public relations in the world couldn’t salvage its image.

According to CNN polling, 14 percent of Americans approve of Congress’s performance; 84 percent disapprove, and 2 percent who are “unsure” have probably been on a three-month bender.
On Forbes.com this week, PR and marketing pro Aaron Perlut called Congress the “world’s biggest and worst PR machine.” He wrote:
“[Members of Congress] continue to make the same PR mistake after mistake in scuffle after scuffle, disenfranchising the very swing voters they wish to ultimately sway.”
