It’s nice to know your employer appreciates you. It’s another thing when that employer is hospitalized on account of your departure.
Such was (allegedly) the case with Michele Bachmann’s former communications director Dave Dziok. A piece on today’s Daily Caller tells the story of when Dziok told Bachmann he planned to take a new job with Edelman PR. The Caller said Dzoik had worked with Bachmann for nearly three years and was leaving on good terms.
The Caller continued:
Staff turnover can frustrate any employer, but Bachmann responded more dramatically. Dziok’s departure triggered a debilitating medical episode that landed the congresswoman in urgent care.
“Within 24 hours she was in the hospital,” a former aide says.
