Russian scientists predict PR nightmare — in 25 years

It might be the end of the world, but we’ll let PR pros of the future worry about it.

This is the type of message that, if it gets out of hand, could have massive implications on the human psyche. I mean, just imagine if the end of the world were to happen in 2036, and not 2012 as we’ve been led to believe. Perhaps we’d even take a cue from Hollywood and start enlisting some of our beefier oil drillers to concoct a plan to blow it up before it hits us.

So far, NASA has conducted some crack PR work and quelled our fears, speaking with Space.com:
