It’s tough to write great content for corporate Facebook pages. There are certainly good ones and bad ones, and now—thanks to Condescending Corporate Brand Page—we have someone to satirize the bad.
They’re not shy over there about pointing out the cheesy ways that businesses and brands go after “likes,” comments and shares. And for those of us who live with this type of content ever day, it’s pretty cringe-worthy stuff.
Take, for example, their post from Wednesday. You know how brands will often co-opt a famous or inspirational quote and put their logo on it to drum up “likes” and shares? Here’s CCBP’s version:
