Scrabble scores big with Q-U-I-R-K-Y redesign

The classic board game of dictionary devotees receives a typography overhaul.

Designer Andrew Capener’s novel take on the classic board game—called the A-1 Scrabble Design Edition Board—gives players the options of using several typefaces, including: Courier New, Book Antiqua, Helvetica, and Times New Roman.

Plus, he adopted the contemporarily eloquence of a solid walnut board, complete with magnetized letters.
