Everyone celebrates the season with their own traditions.

Some trim the Christmas tree and share stories and carols, and some light a menorah to observe the eight nights of Hanukkah. Many gather around the television to watch holiday classics like “Home Alone,” “It’s a Wonderful Life” or “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.”

Some cook a holiday ham; others order takeout from their favorite Chinese restaurant. Still others devote a day or evening of service in a soup kitchen to mark this season of giving.

Some PR pros are powered down for the week, but for those like us that can’t seem to kick their media habit, we’ve compiled the annual countdown of the most-shared posts from PR Daily in 2017.

The countdown will begin Tuesday, Dec. 26, and run through Friday, Dec. 29.

Tune in each day to see what stories gripped readers over the past year, and plan for what will come in the new year.
