Senate bill to save newspapers attracts zero co-sponsors
Democratic Senator Benjamin Cardin, of Maryland, introduced his Newspaper Revitalization Act this week to allow newspapers to restructure as nonprofits. A spokesman for Cardin said the bill has yet to attract a sponsor.
