Senior marketing execs plan to spend more on viral marketing, study says

A study released this week by Forbes found that over the next six months 53 percent of senior marketing executives plan to spend less on ad networks, while 54 percent expect to devote money to so-called viral marketing—what I can only assume is social media marketing—and 50 percent expect to spend more on search engine optimization.
