After she finally agreed to meet a young leukemia patient, it turns out the boy and his family don’t want to meet Food Network star Ina Garten anymore.
As if culinary diva Ina Garten and her staff hadn’t cooked up enough of a PR nightmare already—denying a 6-year-old his Make-A-Wish dream to meet the host, not once, but twice—now the dinner tables have turned.
Garten, who is Food Network’s “Barefoot Contessa,” ultimately relented Monday and called young leukemia patient Enzo Pereda and his family to say she had reconsidered and would be happy to meet him.

Now reports have it that Garten’s offer has been rejected by the family. We smell smoke.
