Study: 91 percent of mobile Web users go online to socialize

Why do people browse the Web on their mobile phones? A new survey from Ruder Finn has some answers. Nine out of 10 people surveyed (91 percent) use their mobile phones to socialize, Ruder Finn reported. Fewer people surveyed, 78 percent, said they use their mobile phones as a learning tool. “Learning requires time and patience, something mobile phone users are in short supply of,” according to Ruder Finn.
