Study: Brands are the least ‘liked’ feature on Facebook

Just 9 percent of users ‘like’ a brand on the social network. Find out which Facebook features are the most ‘liked.’

Not to worry, social media marketers—no single Facebook feature has attracted likes from more than 20 percent of survey respondents, and non-branded pages fared only slightly better (10 percent) than branded pages.

Those who like brand pages were generally younger and spend more time online, according to the study. As many as 23 percent of respondents under 17 said they would like a Facebook item because “I like the brand.” That number decreased as the age went up.
