Study: Coffee makes you live longer

Have another cup. Researchers say it’s good for you.

And despite what the java abstainers and tea drinkers say, all of that coffee is, in fact, good for them—it’s even making these hard-working professionals live longer.

The new study, by AARP and the National Institute of Health, followed more than 400,000 healthy people between the ages of 50 and 71 for 13 years. During that time, 13 percent of them died. Across the board, coffee drinkers outlived their peers. And the more coffee they drank, the lower their risk of mortality.
