Study says Android outsells the BlackBerry and iPhone, for now

Thing is the Nielsen study took place from November 2010 to January 2011—before the iPhone was available on Verizon.

Nielsen released a report Thursday that said Android has captured 29 percent of the market share, compared with 27 percent each for Apple and BlackBerry.

But before you dump your iPhone in a fit of bandwagon jumper’s remorse, realize that the study was conducted from November 2010 to January 2011—before iPhone was available on the Verizon network.
