Study: Women use social media more than men do

The British survey also found that if the Internet were gone, women would miss it more than men would.

A British Telecom study reveals that 54 percent of women regularly use social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter compared to 32 percent of men, according to Mashable.

Asked whether they would miss social networking if the Internet no longer existed, 18 percent of women said yes while only 7 percent of men said they would.
