Survey: 74 percent of English-speaking American adults use the Internet
According to a recent Pew Internet survey, 74 percent of American adults (ages 18 and older) use the Internet; 55 percent of American adults connect to the Internet wirelessly. The survey was conducted from Nov. 30 through Dec. 27 of 2009.
