Survey: Most people get their local news from newspaper Web sites

The survey, by the Newspaper Association of America and comScore, found that 57 percent of adults use newspaper Web sites as their primary source of local information, reported Editor & Publisher . The survey also noted that 54 percent of adults find the same information on “local portals,” while 53 percent get it from local TV Web sites. The survey asked more than 3,000 people.
