Survey: Profitability of PR firms dropped 21 percent in 2008
A survey released this week by consulting firm Stevens Gould Pincus found that profitability among 106 PR firms in the U.S. and Canada fell by 20.8 percent in 2008 to 15.6 percent of revenues. The average minimum monthly fee charged by PR firms also fell, by 26 percent, to $10,332.
