The creepy side of location-based social networking

With all the hype about Foursquare there was bound to be a downside, and Jim Louderback, the CEO of Revision3 Internet Television in San Francisco, has found it — at his son’s school. Turns out a parent there is a little overactive on Foursquare. “This tale is, in part, yet another log thrown on the privacy bonfire,” he wrote. “But in this case it’s not about Facebook. It’s about locations, kids, parents, safety, and what your combined online persona says about you.”
