To help fight malaria, UN appoints social media envoys — wait ‘til you see the roster

For the next 12 months, these social media envoys have agreed to take one social action a month, which might include sending a tweet or making a Facebook status update, in support of malaria control. The members of this team include Pete Cashmore, founder of the Web site Mashable.com , Anderson Cooper, Dennis Crowley, CEO of Foursquare, Arianna Huffington, Ryan Seacrest, and more.
