What does a PR director do? According to CNNMoney.com , this person “plans and directs public relations programs designed to create and maintain a favorable public image for employers or clients.” Sounds easy enough. And yet, it’s ranked No. 84 on the list of 100 best jobs in America. Marketing consultant was No. 61; director of communications ranked 87. The top job was software architect. Journalist didn’t make the list.
