Twitter cracks down on trolls
The social media platform admitted its response to online abuse has been lackluster, but it seeks to change that with new features for reporting harassment.

An internal memo last month from the company’s CEO Dick Costolo admitted, “We suck at dealing with abuse and trolls on the platform and we’ve sucked at it for years. It’s no secret and the rest of the world talks about it every day.”
Now, the service is jumping to action with some product updates “aimed at improving the safety of our users,” according to a blog post from Tina Bhatnagar, Twitter’s VP of user services.
