Twitter—the new diet craze sweeping the nation?

Getting a bit of spare tire from spending too much time tweeting? Maybe you wonder how much energy you use on your Twitter addiction. Well, there’s an app for that; it’s called Tweetcalories. Based on a formula, its creators have calculated that sending a tweet takes 1.03 calories. Send 200 tweets a day, and you might burn off that chocolate chip cookie. Yes, sadly, it’s true—the gym is better than Twitter for weight loss.–Jackson Wightman
