Uninvited: New survey says PR pros are excluded from top-level meetings

Yet a vast majority of executives who responded to the survey said communications most influences corporate reputation.

New research from Hotwire and the Holmes Report found that 59 percent of senior global communications execs surveyed believe PR is excluded from discussions and decisions with top management.

Here’s where it gets dicey.

The report continued: “84 percent of executives rate communications as the function that has the most influence on corporate reputation.” To boot, communication budgets have increased in 2011, compared with last year.
