Utah Costco store removes tomatoes from shelves during Palin’s visit to Salt Lake City

A Minnesota man threw tomatoes at Sarah Palin during an appearance at the Mall of America. (None of them hit her.) Employees at a Salt Lake City Costco store were determined to make sure that didn’t happen when Palin visited the city last week. According to a report in The Salt Lake Tribune , the Costco store removed all the tomatoes from their shelves for the few hours that the former Alaska governor visited the city.
