Video game maker’s PR headache compounded by fake Twitter account

A game from Bethesda Softworks’s proved unplayable for some. Making matters worse, a foul-mouthed gamer launched a fake Twitter account credited to the company’s PR chief.

Problems with the Playstation version of the game make it darn near unplayable. That’s a potential PR crisis in itself, but its even compounded by a fake Twitter account of the company’s PR chief. The account is like a bitchier @MayorEmanuel with the nerdiness of a true gamer.

The fake account makes no mention that it’s not actually the company’s VP of PR and marketing, Pete Hines, and the tweets, well, they’re not exactly politically correct. For example:

“Skyrim plays perfectly fine on high end PC’s. Those experiencing issues should consider not being poor.”

It gets worse, especially when it comes to his @ replies:
