Walmart confuses with health insurance tweet

As news of cuts to employee insurance plans spread, the company touted how little its workers pay for coverage.

About 30,000 part-time Walmart employees are going to lose their company health care plans, and the company will raise premiums for those workers that will get to keep their insurance.

As that news spread this week, Walmart has started a concentrated campaign to defend its actions. Part of that campaign was this Thursday tweet:

We’re proud to say that Walmart associates, on avg, pay 32% less than other retail employees. pic.twitter.com/fkr0UNwdrc

It led to some very confused responses.
