Was the ‘runaway Prius’ a giant hoax?

It appears the story about the Prius with the sticky accelerator, an incident that dealt another massive blow to Toyota, may be a hoax. Last week, California man James Sikes phone 9-1-1 and claimed the gas pedal on his 2008 Toyota Prius was stuck.
