What bad PR? Toyota sales rebound thanks to sales incentives
Apparently, the American consumer shops with his wallet in mind — not his safety. Toyota said Tuesday that its third-quarter sales in the U.S. “probably rose by a third in March,” reports The New York Times . The automaker offered steep incentives to lure customers back into showrooms, following recalls of more than 8 million vehicles worldwide.
