What to pack for the SXSW festival

Here’s what’ll you need:

Clothes:

• Dress for comfort, but don’t forget style. I brought many similar outfits in the past, so my general day-to-day look would be similar, which is important when you are meeting hundreds of people every day. Personal branding, for the win.
• Weather: The daily high temperatures, based on averages, will hit the 70s, and drop into the 50s at night. Layer appropriately. If you burn easily, sunscreen could come in handy.
• No matter what you wear, make sure your shoes are comfortable. You might be out and about for 16 to 20 hours per day, and sessions can be quite a hike from each other. You’ll log several miles of on your feet.
