What’s ‘compassionate listening,’ and why should you care?

When I work with clients, it’s often a struggle to teach what I call “compassionate listening.” It’s not just keeping track of who says what, but taking the time to connect with people by listening. Monitoring is a no-brainer in social media, but listening with true interest in others is the gold standard. Some people need coaching on this, but the rewards are truly worth it. – Claire Celsi
