What’s happening today: Facebook awesomeness and Twitter town hall
The social network plans to unveil something today, and President Obama takes part in a webcast in which questions are submitted via Twitter.

OK, he didn’t exactly say that. What he did is promise “something awesome” next week. The day of awesomeness has arrived. Facebook is holding a press conference at its Palo Alto headquarters at 1 p.m. ET. No details on what the company plans to announce, though many are speculating it will be a video-chat feature.
Then, at 2 p.m. ET, the White House is holding a town hall webcast focusing on the economy and jobs. Reuters reports:
