Whoops! Watch Colorado’s video-contest fail
Colorado asked its residents to record a video about why the state is great. The winning entry has several glaring errors about the state.
The winning video—Colorado: The Musical—is an amusing low-budget romp touting the state’s many triumphs. Unfortunately, several are incorrect. For instance, Colorado was not the first state to give women the right to vote and it is most likely not home to the cheeseburger.
How’d this happen?
Director of the state’s Office of Film, Television and Media Donald Zuckerman—who only recently moved to Colorado from L.A.—blamed it on lack of manpower. He told the Denver Post:
