Why did Wyclef Jean’s PR rep fire him?

The former member of rap group The Fugees is waiting to learn whether he can run for president of Haiti, his native country. In the meantime, NME   reports that Jean is in hiding after receiving death threats. On Monday, The New York Times said : “Euro RSCG Worldwide PR announced that it had resigned from all public relations work for [Jean’s charity for Haiti] Yéle and Jean’s campaign. The firm offered no explanation.” Anyone know what that’s about?
